In 1984, Eric Lindsay, of Australia, donated his collection of audio tapes to SFOHA. Most of these consist of recordings he made at conventions he attended and of pertinent recordings from Australian Radio. A few of Eric's tapes made at World Science Fiction Conventions outside Australia have been placed in the WCON Series; all of his tapes of Australian conventions are in this series. Recordings from AussieCon 1 (1975), the first World Science Fiction Convention held in Australia, are found on tapes AUS--l, 2, 6, and 7, and on tapes AUS--13 through AUS--l9. This independent AUS series is established in the hope that Australian fans will continue to supply tapes of Science Fiction events "down under." It affords American and European fans and scholars with a valuable perspective on another flavor of Science Fiction activity and Science Fiction fandom.
